Our Story

Ripple Wood Goods is an independent clothing label founded by Aurora Eagles, shaped by a lifelong love of the outdoors, music, and vintage style. Though born in 2000, Aurora has always gravitated toward the warmth and individuality of past decades, weaving vintage influence into her everyday life.

The brand lives where southern charm meets coastal ease. Inspired by 1970s nostalgia, western culture, and the soul of surfing, Ripple Wood Goods creates clothing meant to feel worn in, personal, and familiar from the first wear.

This isn’t about trends. It’s about feeling.

The Spirit Behind the Brand

The 1970s left a permanent imprint. It was a decade where fashion felt expressive and unrestrained. Flowers printed on everything, bandanas tied at the neck, high-waisted denim, boots worn for every occasion. The era carried warmth and individuality that still feels magnetic today.

Its music held the same spirit. Soulful storytelling, easy grooves, and lyrics that felt lived in. That rhythm continues to guide every piece Ripple Wood Goods creates.

Western influence brings grounding. Wide landscapes, working hands, and clothing built to last. Surf culture adds movement. Salt air, sun-faded color, and the quiet reset that comes from time spent in the ocean.

Ripple Wood Goods exists where these worlds meet.

Where Ripple Wood Goods Comes From

Aurora was raised on days filled with surfing, singing her heart out, and an appreciation for the outdoors. Her father, Randol Eagles, a lifelong California surfer and background designer for animated television, instilled creativity and optimism early. Music played constantly. Art was part of daily life.

Her roots also run through Texas and Louisiana, where southern warmth and storytelling shaped her family. Her grandparents, Marilu and Walter Eagles, carried deep artistic influence. Walter rarely went a day without music, moving effortlessly between instruments. Marilu worked in the music world and studied painting, exploring styles from impressionism to realism.

Though the family settled in California in the 1960s, southern culture remained strong. Aurora grew up calling her grandparents weekly to sing them her favorite songs, a ritual that anchored her love for sound, memory, and connection.

Ripple Wood Goods carries that lineage forward.

Small Batch, Personal Work

Ripple Wood Goods remains intentionally small. Aurora is the sole owner and builder of the brand, wearing many hats as it grows. Designer, storyteller, and caretaker of every release.

Nothing is rushed. Nothing is overproduced. Each collection is created in limited runs so the work stays personal and close to its roots. Clothing that feels grounded, honest, and ready to live a full life.

Why Ripple Wood Goods Exists

Ripple Wood Goods exists to create clothing that moves with you. Pieces meant for the road, the shoreline, the mountains, and the quiet everyday moments in between.

Clothing that feels familiar from the start.
